Padel Tennis

This racket sport has exploded in popularity around Spain and Europe over recent years, originating from Spain, but also played for many years around South America. The best description of Padel is that it is a fast paced combination of Tennis, Squash and racquetball! With a bit of table tennis thrown in!

It really sharpens up the “normal tennis” players reaction time, movement, net-play and volleys.

It is played on a court roughly 1/3 the size of a tennis court with see-through surrounding back and side walls. The ball can be a tennis ball, however the rackets are solid “paddles” rather than strung rackets. It can be enjoyed in the fresh-air and sunshine, as the courts are outside.
